On November 17th, International Students' Day, events will take place at universities across the world to demonstrate solidarity with Iranian students, academics and scholars. We will honor their bravery and struggles for basic human and civil rights. For more than seventy years, Iranian students and academics have been one of the leading defenders of basic freedoms and rights. For this, they have paid dearly, with imprisonment, torture, rape and their lives. Following the June 12th elections and the brutal crackdown on peaceful protestors during last summer, students and scholars, along with others including the members of women’s movement, once again led the struggle. Global solidarity continues to pressure the government of Iran and other governments in their relations with the government of Iran, in order to hold accountable those who have jailed, raped, tortured, and murdered the Iranians demanding their civil and human rights. And although the mainstream media has failed to cover the ongoing struggle, it continues to exist in Iran. Since the universities have opened in late September, Iranian students have again assumed a brave and active voice. Chants in dormitories and outcries in lecture halls, and on campuses throughout the country, occur regularly. One brave honor student voiced his grave concerns about the Supreme Leader while being broadcast nationally. These brave women and men are risking their lives and future. Leave a message, and let’s support these courageous students and academics in every way we can. |

HELLO YOUNG PEOPLE, STUDENTS, THE FUTURE OF IRAN,
My pain and wish to rest in peace the souls of those young people, among you, whose life was been canceled, by guns on a territory of a republic!
My deep sympathy to the families of those young people!
I hope and I wish you to have success in the communications with Iran’s authorities.
I believe that the great results come from the communications, feed backs, between the people, on their location, in 2009. In conscience that Iran is not an isolated island on Earth , have a close neighbor countries.
I believe in science, knowledge and education, through the whole human life.
I believe in life and work experience, because I am a doer, nevertheless I learn every day, till the moment. I want to see results, not words.
I am a woman,57 years old, born and spent my life in Bulgaria. 1968-1999 I have been, for short time visits, at 17 countries, over 3 continents (Africa, Europe, North America)
In 1975, I got MSc Engineering and Management. 2002-2006 I was a regular student in Law. I have 3 appraiser licenses. I have 34 years work experience and 57 years life experience. In 2009, I am not agree with the conditions of life here.
The area of the territory of Iran - 1,648,195 km2 , Bulgaria – 111,000km2
As a state Bulgaria exists from 7-th century
1889-09.09.1944 (55 years), Bulgaria was a Monarchy with National Assembly and political parties’ governance. European oriented legal system.(The Europe Renaissance begun in 17-the century, or in the name of human to be in the center of the society life).
Eastern Orthodox, as an official religion, is from 8-th century. (Worldwide the religions are been in the state governance from centuries, especially in the means of humans, society. In Europe, in common, the Renaissance put the ideas of the society and state governance upon human’s knowledge and law )
After 09.09.1944, in Bulgaria the religion was announced as a shame and not to be the way people to be bring up in values and rules to live upon. Officially it existed. Around 1987, some of the people look for the religion values and rules, till 2009. On my opinion, it is not a true believe in God and his rules, but substitution, because of lacks in the reality. Lacks of sustainable moral, religion, humans values, slightly seen in the reality and society from 65 years, nevertheless official policies, education, knowledge, science, bringing up generations in different ages.
09.09.1944-10.11.1989 (45 years) Bulgaria’s People Republic.
Officially claimed to be a republic, with state policies in the name of people-workers and peasants (socialism, communism). Ruled by Bulgarian Communist Party. In 2009(after 65 years), there are still no official history and politic opinions, what was good , but what was bad, for 45 years. Bright and dark sides, classify info and silence for the dark sides with heavy influence over the lives of many people here, murders, exiles, labor camps, nationalizations on private wealth, national security services activities, economy, mistakes, results of 45 years state governance. The residents were not been allowed to leave the country, the internal migration processes were on huge control.
But there were successes in the public interests- science, dams, roads, electricity, enterprises in rural industry, production industry, forest and agriculture industry, full employment (nearly equal wages), health, recreation and education systems, in urbanized place-new areas was been built with multilevel buildings-dwellings, new centers.
I’ll conclude, as my opinion, the bright future for the people (as a whole) did not come till 1989( 45 years). In the reality it was been seen (45 years) the difference between the official opinions and the actions in the real life.
In 1972, the population of Iran – 30,159,000, Bulgaria- 8,594,000
10.11.1989-2009 Republic of Bulgaria (20 years).
Political mandates in governance - 4 years, over 30 political parties pretend themselves to presents the interests of groups of the population. State weakness and absence. Privatization resulted in ruined industry sectors, huge unemployment, worst situation in science, health and social security systems, education. From 2007, Bulgaria is EU member. After 10 years monitoring process for cohesion and harmonization to the EU. The incomes are between the lowest in EU. The freedoms sound bright, but cannot be used in full. I have a long list with human rights and under 7% in my real life. I am in huge reservation on official statistic data, political opinions, activities of the political parties, authorities and public administration from 20 years. On my opinion, worst living conditions for the most of the population.
In 2008, the population of Iran –74,196,000 Bulgaria- 7,606,551

By my heart, I wish you, to see results, in your life, after 30 years!
